My apologies…..

Well hello there. I feel like I should be introducing myself since I seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth for the past 6 to 8 weeks. I am alive and well, but am feeling rather embarassed regarding my lack of posts. When I started this blog I wanted to provide inspiration for others just as I have received from so many of you. I also felt that it gave me inspiration to continue to try new things and to delve into more projects. I know that if my favourite blog writers suddenly stopped posting that I would be worried about them and hope that they would soon be back. I hope that you can accept my sincere apologies and that you will continue to follow my blog.

So where have I been? I have had an incredibly busy summer filled with visitors from all over the country and Australia! I enjoyed being able to spend quality time we with so many wonderful people.

I also finished my off-farm job at the end of July and have now started my homeschool mom career! We just finished our first week of school and I am certainly grateful that we are able to follow this new path. The week was an interesting one with all of us trying to get used to a new routine but overall I am glad that this is the journey we are taking together.

I felt like I needed to have a space devoted specifically for school so I started off on our basement transformation. This is actually a great space but was completely under-utilized because it was dark, cool and a little dated. The girls just didn’t feel comfortable heading downstairs without someone else and never spent too much time there. Over the next little while I will be sharing this transformation with you. It was a lot of work and isn’t completely finished, but I am extremely happy with the way it is turning out.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful September and will enjoy your last week of summer!

Sincerely,

Wendy
